A hearing against a Leicestershire surgeon accused of poor care of nine of his patients has been adjourned.

The allegations against Sead Dzumhur, a general surgeon, relate to breast surgery patients whom he operated on between February 13, 2007 and September 20, 2011.

At a hearing before the Medical Practitioners' Tribunal Service, Dr Dzumhur has been accused of not planning operations properly, poor record-keeping, not listening to advice from specialist colleagues and, in one case, carrying out an unnecessary procedure.

His surgical technique has also been called into question.
