There is a new name on the Norma Smith Trophy after Leicester Sharks A won Division One of the annual Leicestershire Young Teams gala at Braunstone.

There were 16 teams competing in two divisions, with relegation and promotion at stake.

Newly-formed this year, Sharks did the double as their B team took the Division Two title to gain promotion.

Leicester Penguins A finished runners-up in Division One, while their B team was promoted after taking second place in Division Two. Market Harborough and Melton were relegated from Division One.
