Maximums from Ian Brown, Darren Bramhall and Abraham Conteh helped Arnesby beat Holwell 8-2 in Division One of the Leicester & District League

It was a tense affair between Desford and Holwell, which ended in a 5-5 draw, with many encounters going to five games.

Abbots Road firsts beat Knighton Park seconds 6-4. There was a maximum from Dave Gannon, who won all three of his matches without dropping a set.

Cavon Foo and Lu Zhang won all their matches to help Unicorn to an 8-2 win over Syston firsts.

In Division Three, maximums from Jack Mooney and George McClurkin helped Park eighths to a 9-1 over Syston Casuals seconds.

Electricity fourths and Arnesby drew. Man of the match was Electricity's Thomas Oravec.

Great Glen and Knighton Park sixths drew, Brian Bodycote leading the with a maximum for Glen.

Park sevenths just got home 6-4 at Nomads. Aman Rashid notched a top score for Park. Bruce Johnson won all his three games as his team, Taxes, shared the points with Great Glen.

In Division Four, Syston Casuals beat Blaby 7-3, John Henshaw with a maximum.

Knighton Park's 10th team beat Regents Sports fifths 6-4 in Division Five, Ashley Palmer with a maximum for Park.

Magna Travellers were beaten by Desford fourths 6-4. Nigel Dunford, of Magna, was unlucky to be on the losing side after scoring a maximum.

Top scores from Marta Honkovia led Abbots Road to a 6-4 win over Nomads fourths.

Nomads fifths were 8-2 winners at Park 11ths, Tony Burns and Andy Burnham starring.

Abbots Road sixths were 8-2 victors over Leicester Taxes seconds, Dave Rana leading the way.
