Talented trio stage a show to mark end of residency
Arts graduates are marking the end of a year in residence at university with an exhibition.
Lucy Andrews, Carrie Bridges and Bethany Walker graduated from De Montfort University in June last year.
They then won one-year placements as the university's artists in residence.
Their exhibition, called Transition, runs until Friday, May 6, at the LCB Depot, Rutland Street, Leicester.
The trio, who studied craft design, said they hoped lots of people would visit the exhibition and that it might lead to commissions for future work.
Carrie said: "This is a collection of our work so far and how we hope to continue with it.
"It bridges the gap between being a student and being a professional and was part of the terms and conditions of the residency."
Carrie's origami sculptures are displayed alongside fabric and cement wall hangings by Bethany, and miniature pottery by Lucy.
Bethany said: "It's a mix of techniques and materials from very different specialisms."
The LCB Depot gallery is free to visit and is open between 9am and 5.30pm every day.
