A lecture will offer tips on how to keep a wildlife diary and record the natural environment through notes, photos and paintings.

The free talk will be given by Carolyn Holmes, Leicestershire County Council's senior curator of natural life.

The lecture starts at 7.30pm on Tuesday, June 30, at Holly Hayes Environment and Heritage Resources Centre, in Birstall Road, Leicester.

Visitors can collect a copy of the Recording Naturally pack and Natural Inspiration leaflet, which are full of ideas about making wildlife diaries.
