Teen hospitalised following stabbing attack
A teenager is in hospital after he was stabbed five times in the back.
The 18-year-old, whose injuries are not said to be life-threatening, was involved in a confrontation with two men on Leicester's St Matthew's estate on Sunday evening, police believe.
As well as five stab wounds on his back, he also suffered a chest injury.
Residents spoke yesterday of their shock. One said: "We are not used to violence like this around here."

The teenager was injured at 4.45pm on Sunday, in St Matthew's Precinct.
Detective Constable Conroy Crowe said: "We believe the victim was involved in an altercation with two men and then subsequently assaulted. We are in the process of studying CCTV and speaking to people.
"We would urge anyone who was in the area and has not yet spoken to the police to come forward.
"Any information about the incident and the events leading up to it could help with our inquiries."
