Tennis: Holders lose grip on Cup
Ashby Castle caused the upset of the Leicester Mercury Cup quarter-finals by putting out holders Charnwood on the Loughborough club's courts.
Also out of the competition are David Lloyd of Narborough, who failed to capitalise on their first-round win against the Leicestershire.
They succumbed to multi-time finalists Roundhill on the slower courts of the Evington club.
Tomorrow, the county's oldest mixed doubles competition moves on to the semi-final stage.
