Thief got away with booze haul
A woman chased a burglar out of her home and later found he had stolen several bottles of alcohol.
The woman discovered the intruder in her house in Fairfield Street, Spinney Hills, Leicester, at 6pm on Friday.
The man left the house immediately but the woman followed him and called police.
She returned home and found alcohol, including Remy Martin cognac, Chivas Regal and Famous Grouse whisky, Malibu rum and U'Luvka vodka, were missing.

Pc Rajdeep Pahal said: "We are trying to trace the man responsible and are hopeful members of the public will be able to help us, particularly because it happened at such a busy time of day."
The suspect is black and was wearing a dark hooded top.
