The Rumble Strips are a Dexy’s Midnight Runners for a new era: a bunch of trumpet-wielding indie oddballs with tunes as infectious as bird flu.

The five-man band from Devon are best known perhaps, for their single Girls And Boys In Love, which was featured in the British film Run Fat Boy Run.

They also headlined an NME new bands tour in 2007.

They're playing at The Musician tonight in a gig previously scheduled for The Charlotte.

Charlotte tickets are still valid for the show.
