UPDATE 7.45PM: Police have said they have closed part of Victoria Park Road because of "concerns for a man who has made threats to jump from a building."

"Victoria Park Road will be closed while officers continue to deal with the incident."
UPDATE 6PM: Motorists are being warned that Victoria Park Road in Leicester is closed between Welford Road and Queens Road because of a police incident.
Drivers are urged to find alternative routes.
An accident in Ratby Road, in Groby, has also partially blocked the route and there are delays in both directions between Braunstone Crossroads and the Kirby Road junction.
Drivers faced delays this morning (Friday, February 1) on the A46 at Syston after and accident.
Traffic on the northbound between A607 and A607 was affected and there was a partial blockage of the road between Hobby Horse Island and Melton Mowbray. The road was cleared at around 9am.
