“Thanks for the links chappy... if he pops goals in like that for us then I am sure he will be a great addition... bit of confidence and we could have found a good little midfielder...”

“here is a clue about the lad,

    He's a Midfielder - he's been a ROI under 21 player, U19 and U17 player,
In 2010 he went on Loan to Plymouth - (as pictured) - who wanted to keep him but the FA embargo stopped them. He played 7 games
In 2011 he went on Loan to Notts County for 9 games but didn't impress and was sent back to Chelsea he then went to Yeovil for a total of 7 games combined during an extended loan - and scored against Fleetwood in the Cup.
Last year he went to Pompey on trial, but was changed to a loan where he played twice - and scored his only league goal against Carlisle.
and he ended last year at Crawley town who used him for 1 game.
Chelsea released him early so he could find a club.

He's been playing in our u21 and reserve side since Feb, and scored the winner against brum in the reserves.

he has 6 career goals, 3 for ROI under 19, and 1 for Portsmouth and 1 for Yeovil

He is by all accounts a cross between Lennon and Savage - a ball winner with decent distribution.

That's as much as I could find out..”

“Main position- central midfielder. Secondary position defensive midfielder

At this stage of the season who else is there out there to take on?

Is this NP's way of getting cover for our defensive midfielder role? Are we going to give a starting place to yet another 19 year old unknown? He was released by Chelsea so this is a "temporary contract" to the end of the season.

Lets see what he can do before condemning him. Now all we need is another loanee Left Back if Taft is not going to be brought on, and we have cover for every position.

Has NP found another Keane or Knockaert for our defensive midfield weakness? At least he can identify our weaknesses and does try to work with what he can get”

“Muzzy Izzett was going to give up football until MON came in for him.He planned to work with his dad in the scaffolding business. A few years later he was playing in a World Cup semi final.
Chelsea are rubbish at developing talent.Maybe we can do what they can't.It's worth a risk.
It's a better risk than paying 1 million for a non league goal scorer who had never scored a goal in pro football.”

“Well he's a midfielder at least..

How much is Pearson Junior on I wonder? Is he ever going to figure?
Hope this young un has what it takes - though looking at where he's been on loan I will wait and see.”
