Whitwick: The Whitwick and District U3A held their annual general meeting in April. This was followed be guest speaker, Malcolm Gray, who gave a very interesting talk on the campaign for National Parks.

As U3A membership is increasing, new interest groups have been formed which include French, history and bridge for beginners.

The next meeting will be on Friday, May 15, when Elizabeth Riding will give a talk entitled Polly Put The Kettle On – all about tea.
