More than 100 business people attended the Leicester Mercury Business Awards pre-event drinks evening on Thursday, February 21.
The 30 finalists who will be competing in 12 categories were guests.

The event, which was also attended by awards sponsors, was held at the Lumbers jewellery store in Market Street, Leicester.
A speech was given by Ian Griffin, business editor of the Leicester Mercury and there was entertainment from singers The Tootsie Rollers.
