VIDEO: Piaf - Production Trailer
A video with clips from Curve's new show, Piaf, is now available on the Leicester Mercury website.
The show, which has been extended for four nights due to the high ticket demand, tells the story of the roller-coaster life of French singer Edith Piaf, played by Tony award-winning actress Frances Ruffelle.
The new video includes scenes from the show, as well as short snippets of interviews with the star and the show's director, Paul Kerryson.
Describing the fascination for the singer, who died after suffering from drug addiction, Mr Kerryson said: "Piaf was a sensational singer, but she was always in the papers for various things. She was scandalous, emotional, passionate and the public wanted every piece of the action."
