Congratulations to Sue Daniels, founder of the Leicestershire Vegetarian and Vegan Group. Not only is the group celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Sue has also been recognised by the National Vegetarian Society with a Veggie Achiever Award in the local contact category.

Sue works tirelessly by organising speakers, baking delicious vegan cakes, acquiring samples of new veggie foods, raising funds for animal charities and many other tasks which promote a vegetarian/vegan lifestyle.

The group meets on the first Thursday of each month at the Friends Meeting House, Queens Road, at 7.30pm.
