It had been broken into and the cash stolen.
A Land Rover Defender, stolen from Lincolnshire, and a large trailer, stolen from Lowdham, in Nottingham, were also abandoned at the farm building.
CCTV shows the thieves using the tractor, stolen from Cropwell Butler, in Nottingham, to crash into the NatWest bank in Market Place, Bingham, at about 2.40am on Monday.
They took the cash machine with them.
Police believe the tractor was driven direct to Bingham from Cropwell Butler.
The force said the raiders may have driven the Land Rover and attached trailer through a number of rural villages between Bingham and Kegworth, including Cotgrave, Wysall, Bunny and East Leake.
Sgt Steve Wragg, of Beeston CID, said: "It would have been an unusual sight to see the vehicle towing such a large trailer through quiet, rural villages in the early hours of the morning.
"Anyone who saw the vehicle may hold vital information which could help us find the people responsible for this incident," he said
Anyone with information should contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

“The Bollards are on the opposite Side of the Road, There are Car Parking Spaces right next to the cash point, the nearest camera is 100 yards away at the Entrance to a small shopping Precinct. The Bollards only stop vehicles entering the Market Place.
This is my Local Bank. I must admit I did go into Bingham out of Curiosity yesterday Morning.
Always been worried about the fact that people can park vans next to the Cash point, in case they are used to rob someone and speed off. or film people entering their pin.
Surprised they didn't take the Link Cashpoint from the Co-op 3 doors down at the same time as theirs is mounted in a reinforced window.”

“Draigfach.....you could be right, unless they were removed later by contractors. But that's even worse then, no bollards at all?”

“I think those bollards are actually on the opposite side of the road - pic 2 shows it more clearly.”

“looking at the first photograph showing the protective bollards, it seems that they were too far apart...”
