Violent cyclist is freed from jail – as long as he does not ride in city
Photographs of a menace cyclist who punched and kicked pedestrians as he rode past them are to be placed across Leicester.
Police hope the move will bring Gurnaik Singh Dogra's bizarre seven year campaign of apparently indiscriminate violence to an end.

Dogra was jailed last month for his latest assaults but he has now been released – triggering an Asbo which bans him from riding in a large swathe of the city.
The order means the 37-year-old, of Penrith Road, Rushey Mead, can be arrested and possibly jailed if he is caught riding or even pushing his bike through certain streets.
While he can still ride elsewhere, the order means he can still be arrested if he threatens or assaults anyone.
About 40 people have complained about him since 2002, but police believe other victims have never come forward.
Pc Harvey Watson, whose beat covers Victoria Park and the University of Leicester campus where Dogra targeted people, said: "He was a menace, but hopefully that has been resolved now.
"I've just seen him and he was on foot, so that's a good start.
"Hopefully he understands now that if he breaches this order he will be arrested and he will go back inside.
"We'll be putting his posters around the areas where he committed these offences – Clarendon Park, Victoria Park, the university campus and New Walk – to make sure as many people as possible know who he is and what this Asbo is all about." The posters will include a picture of Dogra, the terms of the Asbo and a telephone number for people to report him if they see him misbehaving.
They will also be posted in areas of the city including the streets around Leicester Royal Infirmary and the West End.
Sgt Angela Massey, of Welford Road police, whose officers applied for the Asbo, said: "Now he has been released from prison, the intention is to put up the posters with his photograph and the conditions of the order in the particular areas where he assaulted people.
"The idea is to offer protection to the public with this order and it is up to Mr Dogra now to behave himself.
"If people recognise him from the posters and see him breaching the Asbo they can call us and we will deal with it."
One of Dogra's victims, a 33-year-old from Clarendon Park who was kicked to the ground by the speeding cyclist in London Road, said: "It was hard enough to knock me to the floor.
"He needs to get help, really. There's obviously something wrong with him and he seems to have been doing this for a long time. There's no logic to it.
"If what the police have done here stops him then it's good news because he has been a menace."
Dogra appeared at Leicester Magistrates' Court last month and was jailed for 12 weeks for two counts of assault and one offence of threatening behaviour. He admitted the offences and was released from prison this week.
The Asbo, which will last for five years, is now in effect.
Under the order, Dogra cannot ride or push his bike in Victoria Park and the following streets: Welford Road, Avenue Road, Avenue Road Extension, London Road, Granby Street, Belvoir Street, Welford Place, Newarke Street, Vaughan Way, the Newarke, Western Boulevard, Upperton Road, Jarrom Street, Infirmary Road.
When riding elsewhere he must not cause "harassment, alarm or distress" to any person.
