Members are reminded that the Christmas entertainment group meeting will be held at the Gerrard Court Community Centre, Johnson Road, at 7.30pm on Tuesday, May 12.

Margaret Dickinson and Dorine Warren are organising a quiz night and supper for 7pm on Saturday May 9, in the church hall, in aid of the Gampala Orphanage, in Sri Lanka, supported by Cathy Gaunt. Tickets will cost £6.

The raffle winner was Pip Dexter and winners in the decorated egg competition were Anne Rollett, Caroline Crombie and Bobby Chamberlain. Pat Oakley and Sylvia Weaver were the hostesses for the evening.

The next meeting will be at 7.30, on Tuesday May 5, in the church hall, when a WI speaker will talk about this year's resolution. Wine and nibbles will be served.

New members and visitors are always welcome.
