Wind protesters
An event is being held to raise cash to continue a campaign against an energy company.
Residents in Queniborough and surrounding villages are battling Scottish Power Renewables, which wants to build a wind farm in the area.
On Sunday, Queniborough residents will be opening their gardens to the public. Admission is £3, with entry free for under-12s. There will be stalls, teas and cakes between 11am and 5pm, with all money raised going to the campaign group.

“Because Wind Energy is not the most effective use of money.
Such as Sunday hot day electricity use rises- no wind!!
Nuclear is the way forward.”
