Witness appeal after taxi driver attacked
A taxi driver has been attacked and robbed by his passengers.
The driver picked up three people in Millwood Close, Mowmacre, Leicester at 1.45am on Wednesday and drove to Market Harborough.
He pulled over at the entrance to Symington Road recreation ground, where the group attacked him and stole his cash.
Detective Constable Jessica Rippington said: "This was a frightening incident for the victim. I would ask anyone who was in either the Millwood Close or Symington Road areas and thinks they may have seen this group to get in touch. I would also appeal to anyone who believes they recognise the descriptions of the suspects to contact me as soon as possible."

“Picking up passengers at that time in that area then he should be prepared for this kind of trouble and he should have taken proper addresses , but greed comes in the way I guess!!!”
