The incident happened at 5.30pm on Saturday, January 5.

Police released details and appealed for witnesses yesterday.

Detective Constable Emmy Thresh said: "Unfortunately, the victim was not able to get much of a description of the suspect, other than that he was white.

"The supermarket is always busy at this time of the day, so we are hoping there is someone who may have witnessed the incident or saw the route this man took after it.

"Please get in touch with any information as even the smallest of details could help."

Contact Det Con Thresh on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
