A 50-year-old woman has been charged following a burglary.

Police were called by a member of the public who reported seeing someone acting suspiciously in Delaware Road, Evington, Leicester, at about 3.15am on Wednesday.

Officers discovered a burglary had taken place.

The woman is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court on Thursday, March 8.
