Woman rescued after leg trapped in bridge in Cotton Way, Loughborough

A woman had to be freed by firefighters after getting her leg trapped in a bridge.

Emergency crews had to use cutting equipment to free the woman after she became stuck at a footbridge in Cotton Way, Loughborough.

They spent about half an hour dealing with the incident at 1pm yesterday.

The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance.
