Detective Sergeant Mark Sinski, who is working on the investigation said: "This was a traumatic incident for the victim and we are working closely with her to try to find the offender.

"Please think back to the early hours of last Friday.

"I would really like to hear from you if you were in either Kent Street, Regents Road or West street at the time the incident took place.

"You may have seen a man with a bike walking with a woman and thought nothing of it at the time, but it could be really important to our investigation.

A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and released on police bail pending further inquiries.
