Woman survives dramatic accident without a scratch
A woman was left trapped upside down in her car after coming off the road – but escaped without a scratch.
The woman's Ford Focus left the A444 Burton Road at Norton Juxta Twycross just before 7pm on Thursday.
The car ended up in a ditch at a 45- degree angle. Firefighters from Market Bosworth and Coalville had to cut away a hedge to reach the car before freeing the woman.
Coalville watch manager Dave Fear said: "The car was almost upside down with a woman trapped in it when we arrived. We had to go into the field to cut away the hedge the car was leaning against after stabilising the car. It took about half-an- hour to get her out.

"We spoke to her throughout the incident and she seemed pretty calm. She had a blanket round her and was probably in the warmest place because it was a freezing night, the road was like sheet ice.
"She was able to walk out after we cut her free and was checked over by paramedics."
