Women celebrate title win
Leicestershire women are celebrating after winning the Middle England League.
They clinched the honour with a storming victory over Cambridgeshire, at Brookfield BC, leaving them in an unassailable position even though some of their rivals have two matches remaining.
Their campaign began in May with a defeat, but they have improved ever since, culminating in a 132-106 shots success over Cambridgeshire, which banked them 13 points to their rivals' four.
