Evington: An interdenominational Women's World Day of Prayer service will be held on Friday, March 5.

It takes place at St Paul's Polish Church, on the corner of Falmouth Road and Wakerley Road, at 6.30pm.

The service, held in English, has this year been prepared by the women of Cameroon.

Sapcote: For a suggested donation of £2.50 visitors can join Sapcote Heritage Group in hearing from David Bell about Leicestershire Privies, today, in All Saints Church Hall, at 7.30pm.

Coleorton: The WI has been given lottery funding to allow members to attend courses at Denman College.

The next meeting will be on Wednesday, March 3, at 7.30pm, at Beaumont Social Centre.
