Women's football: Katie Bateman strikes for Leicester City Ladies
Leicester City Ladies continued their unbeaten run in all competitions with a win at Curzon Ashton.
They triumphed 2-1 and, as a result, moved up to fifth in the Midland Combination League with games in hand on all the teams above them.
Leicester took the lead in the first half when a long throw was forced over the line by Kayleigh Hillier.
Curzon equalised at the start of the second period but the visitors sealed the win when Linda Scott put Katie Bateman through to fire home.
