Leicester City Ladies continued their unbeaten run with a 5-1 victory over Loughborough Foxes in the Midland Combination League Cup.

Despite Foxes taking the lead, it was not long before Leicester were dominating the game. Kayleigh Hillier crossed for captain Erica Kilby to head home the equaliser before Hillier made it 2-1 with a fine individual goal.

In the second half, Tori Allen put Hillier through to score the third, and the same player notched again, this time from Tara Guyler's cross.

Hillier completed the scoring with her fourth, Reva Allen supplying the pass.

Leicester are at home to Curzon Ashton on Sunday.

A brilliant goalkeeping display from Becky Robinson helped Ellistown book their place in the first round proper of the Women's FA Cup.

Robinson produced several top-class saves in a 3-1 victory over Pegasus, from Hereford.

Rachel Lee and Sally Walton combined for Jody Scott to open the scoring for Town on the half-hour mark.

Pegasus levelled just before the break and should have gone ahead when they were awarded a penalty, only for Robinson to pull off a great stop.

This seemed to spur on Town and they took the lead through Scott.

They wrapped things up when Terry Want put Walton through for the third.

Oadby Wigston Dynamo were knocked out of the Women's FA Cup by Mansfield Town, who play in a higher league.

Dynamo went a goal down early on but fought back and equalised on 30 minutes through Megan Cletheroe.

A penalty and a red card for hand ball, midway through the second period, left Dynamo with too much to do and Mansfield went on to win 4-1.

Syston Town won their second Leicestershire League game in a row when they defeated NKF United 3-0.

Syston got off to a flying start when Hollie Gunn combined with Rachel Burton for the latter to produce a composed finish.

Jess Merriman had a goal chalked off for a foul on the NKF keeper before Syston did go two goals ahead, Paige Gunn curling in a corner.

In the second half, Alicia Peel was unlucky not to score when a shot from just outside the box flew just wide.

Syston continued to press and got their third goal when Paige Gunn blasted in an unstoppable long-range shot.
