South Kilworth: Villagers are celebrating the announcement of proposals to install traffic calming measures through the village.

Work is due to start this month on installing electronic speed indicators and warning signs in Rugby Road and North Road.

However, concerns have been raised as commuters are still using Welford Road as a rat-run.

Castle Donington: The recreation, planning and amenities committees of the parish council will meet at the Parish Rooms on Thursday, January 14, at 7.30pm.

Diseworth: There will be a coffee morning at Diseworth Parish Church on January 23 at 10am.
