Worlds biggest coffee morning prepares for it’s 22nd year
A record breaking day is expected across Leicestershire and Rutland this Friday when thousands of people get together to enjoy a 'cuppa' for the Macmillan coffee morning.
Now in its 22nd year, 2012 is expected to be another phenomenal year with over £1700 coffee mornings being held across the county - an all time record.
In 2011 the Macmillan coffee morning reached new heights by raising £10m for cancer support.
Of that, £101,000 was raised in the counties of Leicestershire and Rutland.
