Young Achiever Awards 2012: Dragons' Den star hoping to find new entrepreneurs
The first students have started at Leicester College's new academy set up with the help of Dragons' Den entrepreneur Peter Jones.
Twenty students have begun their courses at the college's Peter Jones Enterprise Academy, which gives youngsters a chance to study for a BTEC in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship.

As part of its commitment to young talent, the college is also sponsoring the Leicester Mercury Young Achiever Awards 2012 and is asking people to nominate youngsters for the Apprenticeship Achievement category.
Mr Jones said: "I've opened an academy at Leicester College to help provide all the skills young people need to unleash their entrepreneurial ability.

Sue Bourne, from the college, said: "Leicester College is extremely proud of its appointment as the East Midlands hub for the Peter Jones academy and is looking forward to developing the entrepreneurial talents of a new generation."
The Young Achiever Awards aim to recognise young people aged between 14 and 25 who have shown dedication, resilience and hard work.
Individuals can be entered into up to three of the 10 categories. The entry form must also be endorsed by a relevant referee and all nominations close on Saturday, October 20.
