Now is your chance to nominate a young person for the Leicester Mercury Young Achiever Awards 2012.
The Young Achiever Awards are open to anyone aged 14 to 25 who lives in Leicestershire and Rutland.

The search is on for the Leicester Mercury Young Achiever 2012
Winners will be chosen for their academic achievement in the classroom, athletic prowess on the sports field or for showcasing their entrepreneurial skills.
Awards will go to the best apprentice and there’s a special category for those who’ve volunteered in their community.

Anyone, from teachers, parents, neighbours and friends, can nominate a deserving young person.
A ceremony will be held in December for the finalists and the winners of each category will be presented with £250 and a trophy.
Any individual can enter up to three categories and the entry form must be endorsed by a relevant referee.
A daytime awards ceremony will be held on Thursday December 6, 2012.
