It was among 10 clubs across the city that received part of an £11 million grant for sports in the city.
The £1.1 million for Bharat will be used to upgrade the ground at Rushey Mead Recreation Ground in Rushey Mead, Leicester.
The players will get new changing rooms, new showers and a social area.
The grant has come from several sources including the Football Foundation, Leicester City Council and NHS Leicester City.
Mr Vaz, who visited the club yesterday to meet the young players, said: "I'm excited about the plans for the club.
"It is such fantastic news that the club has been chosen to receive this level of funding. This club is a real benefit to the local community and is extremely popular with young people locally.
"The impact of improved facilities will be extremely positive, particularly when considering the health benefits for children in doing more sport."
