She said: "The children were great and their wonderful superhero outfits obviously gave them special powers as they completed the challenge. We are hoping to raise £350 from the event."
The children were all awarded Barnardo's medals for finishing the walk and were given balloon flowers and toy swords.
Glebelands headmaster Michael Dix said: "The children have had a great time, what with the fancy dress, the balloons and the stickers, and while they were enjoying their walk in the sunshine, they were raising money for a very good cause, helping other children less fortunate than themselves."
Money raised will help disadvantaged children.
