Two arrested after raid on suspected cannabis house in Earl Shilton, Leicestershire
Two people were arrested after police raided a house they believed was being used to grow cannabis, in Earl Shilton, Leicestershire.
Officers executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at the home in Nock Verges, in Earl Shilton, on Tuesday(26).

Two people were arrested after police raided a house in Nock Verges, Earl Shilton, Leicestershire.
Once inside, a number of cannabis plants, an amount of cash, a suspected American Pitbull Terrier and a shotgun were recovered.
Two men, aged 21 and 24, have been arrested in connection with the incident and have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

Sergeant Mel Thomas of the Barwell and Earl Shilton police team said: “This again was an intelligence led enquiry with a fantastic result.
“Taking illegally held firearms out of circulation is always an achievement and along with the seizure of cannabis plants, cash and a potentially dangerous dog this has been good news.”
