Oakham: Comic Isy Suttie – best known for playing the role of Dobby, the cheese-obsessed IT geek and focus of attention for Mark Corrigan (David Mitchell) in the Channel 4 sitcom Peep Show – is coming to Oakham next month.

She'll be joined on stage by up-and-coming comedian Brian Gittins, described by one reviewer as having "a dollop of David Brent in his DNA, not to mention some Alan Partridge".

Both acts will take to the stage to entertain the audience on Thursday, November 19, as part of the Live@The Museum programme of events at Rutland County Museum.

Councillor Peter Jones is behind the venture: "Isy Suttie and Brian Gittins are both very popular on a national level and have entertained audiences up and down the country. I am sure that with the high profile of 'Peep Show' and the reputation of both acts, that this show will be very popular and tickets will sell quickly".

Tickets are on sale priced at £9.50/£8.50 concessions and are available from the museum reception (cash sales only) or www.rutland.gov.uk/live@themuseum
