“ If you've never visited before, you've probably been past 100's of times - whilst driving round St Nicholas Circle. It's well worth a visit - especially with free admission - with interesting displays inside, as well as the Jewry Wall and other remains of the Roman Baths outside. Quite literally a hidden treasure, which reveals Leicester's rich history dating back 1000’s of years. ”

“As a child this place used to fascinate me..... during the summer holidays i'd happily go two or three times, I recently went back with my god-daughter and the fascination was still there!! That it's still free, when so many things are going up in price, is amazing..... lets just hope it stays that way for many years to come.”

“This museum is very good for the Roman and Anglo Saxon finds in and around Leicester. Sadly, it is always under threat from the philistines in the Council who have no time for the origins of the city but just attempt to destroy what they have inherited.
It is well worth visiting and is free, check the opening times as it shuts in winter”
