While on his travels, Duncan Lucas, of Wigston Magna, stopped in Tetbury and visited an art exhibition in the ancient market hall there.

He says: "I was asked where I was from and on the reply Leicestershire, was asked do you know where the Fox Covert 'Sheep Thorns' is?

"'Certainly,' I replied, 'it's near to Tur Langton. Why?'

"They had a painting signed 'Fernie Hunt Sheep Thorns Leicestershire 1928'.
