DR Electrical was founded by a young service engineer Leo De Rienzo over 30 years ago. Whilst still offering a repair service, the company expanded and started to sell domestic appliances Leicestershire, through its large showroom and online. The company has sold thousands of appliances over years to many satisfied customers all over Leicestershire. It has an increasing loyal customer base as DR Electrical offers traditional service people expect from a family run firm but with fantastic prices. The company is run on a daily basis by his brother-in-law Enzo and his son Roberto. Meet the team…
Enzo- Service manager
Enzo has worked for DR Electrical from day one. He organizes the service and spares department and makes sure the showroom and warehouse is fully displayed with the huge range of new stock. He is also involved in the sales and has many local letting agents as his regular customers.
Roberto- Sales manager
Roberto started to work for his father's business straight after finishing university back in 2003. He manages the website and processes all the orders and organizes the nationwide deliveries. More recently he has become the main buyer and tries to develop and increase the business relationships with the account and trade customers such as electrical contractors, letting agents, facilities management and social housing groups.
Dedicated team
Behind every successful company there is a team of helpful and dedicated staff. We have 4 service engineers, 3 fitters and 4 salespeople all with many years of experience. Many of them attend regular product training and customer service courses.

Very Disappointed
“Contrary to the reviews above, my experience of DR Electrical wasn't as positive. I went in looking to buy a fridge freezer however in return i got extremely bad customer service. i'm a senior employee of a large retail company and i was surprised that a business could deliver and treat customers in such ways.

I wasn't greeted at all as i entered the shop, and when i approached an employee and explained the specific details of what i required, i was simply pointed to a few products and left alone. Towards the end of my shopping experience i felt very devalued as a customer, particularly when it was time for staff to close the shop. It was basically 'if you want it, but it or get out' attitude making me feel under pressure.
I suggest DR Electrical consider, reflect and take measures to combat the issues i have raised.
From a personal point of view, i won't be shopping at DR Electrical again, neither will I be recommending it to anyone.”

just bought a new dryer.. perfect
“as most people do we looked at a few large stores to see what was what.. but we have used dr electrical many times before.. the service & waiting times at the larger stores was very poor.. so again we went back to dr electrical... the dryer was delivered the next day & even lefted plugged in and running.. a perfect service & a perfect cost.. thank you again”

My favourite electrical store in leicester- what a find!
“I was searching for a spare part online, called a few firms. These guys were only people who wanted to help me. They had the cooker element i wanted. It saved my sunday lunch! My biggest surprise was when I went to collect the part. The showroom was massive. I ended up buying a new washing machine a few weeks later. They matched a price i found at an other shop and offered to intall it for a very reasonable sum. Great shop! ”
