“ This is the best cafe anywhere, not just Rutland. The food is so good I don't know why it's not listed under restaurant - just because it doesn't open in the evening? All the staff are freindly and efficient and John is especially helpful to nuisances like me with odd dietry requirements. He always makes me feel welcome, as he does everybody. The whole site is a good place to spend a few hours browsing the garden centre, the half dozen shops, getting your car handwashed while you have an excellent lunch, breakfast or tea. What more could you need? Cannot recommend it highly enough. ”

The Potting Shed in Ashwell All Day Breakfast amazing!

“Seriously… you need to get up there and pay them a visit. I had their all day breakfast today and it was brilliant. Just enough and the quality of the food was great - given the very reasonable £6.50 price tag. A Saturday morning hangover cure?... Defiantly! Thanks guys, see you again.”

POTTING SHED

“Great food and wonderfully friendly service. Nothing is too much bother for Val and John and their staff.
Their gammon is the best I have had anywhere. Steak and Kidney pie, and pudding, and apple pie to die for.
Parking is plentiful, easy and free.”
