Two-car crash closes Saffron Lane, in Aylestone, Leicester
A crash involving two vehicles closed the B5366 Saffron Lane, in Aylestone, Leicester, both ways between Burnaston Road and Gedge Way this morning.
The collision occurred at around 7.15am and emergency services were called to the scene.
A police spokeswoman said: "The collision involved two vehicles. As yet the injuries of those involved are unknown."
It is believed the road will be closed for some time to allow the vehicles to be recovered.

“i dont know the circumstances before the collision, but having seen the wreckage i question how on earth anyone gets a car so out of control on a 30mph road near a junction? the golf that was t-boned was on the back of a truck around 6.30pm on gloucester crescent”
