More choice on offer for free bike lessons
Free cycling lessons for adults will be taking part in more locations.
Leicestershire County Council has launched new courses for Barwell, Ibstock, Queniborough, Asfordby and Enderby, where people wanting to become good cyclists can borrow bikes and helmets and go out with instructors.

The courses first began two years ago and have already been held in areas including Loughborough, Melton, Coalville, Market Harborough, Hinckley and Oadby, boosting the skills and confidence of more than 500 adult cyclists.
They will be held in 25 locations across the county this year.

Lesley Pendleton, Leicestershire County Council cabinet member for environment and transport, said: "We have had a fantastic response from people who have taken up these courses.
"We know cycling is a great way to get fit, save money on fuel and help the environment.
"We hope more people who would like to cycle to work, for leisure or both, will take advantage of these free courses again this year."
Upcoming courses include one in Glenfield, where courses will be held on Saturdays from 10am, one in Glen Parva at 12.45pm on Wednesdays, a Monday evening course in Hinckley and a Wednesday evening course at Watermead Country Park. For more details, call 0116 305 8307 or visit:
