Three in court over bank raid
Three men charged with attempted robbery of a bank have appeared before a judge.
Robert Allen (33), of Hall Farm Crescent, Broughton Astley; Leroy Williams (34), of Hallam Crescent East, Braunstone, Leicester; and Bryn Peter Parker (31), of the Fairway, Saffron Lane estate, Leicester, appeared at the city's crown court yesterday .
They each face charges relating to the attempted robbery of the NatWest Bank, in Lutterworth, on January 24.
No pleas were entered during the three-minute preliminary hearing and the three defendants, who spoke only to acknowledge their names, were remanded back into custody.
