Together as always for six decades
A couple yesterday celebrated 60 years of happy marriage.
John and Lillian Gibney, of Wigston Harcourt, marked their diamond wedding with a party with family and friends.

Lillian said: "We met at the pictures and John was such a perfect gentleman he never kissed me, even after a month.
"I said to a friend at work that I thought I'd stop going out with him because he'd never given me a kiss."

The couple, both born in Nottingham, moved to Wigston 48 years ago when John began working for Heating Elements, in Moat Street.
Lillian, a lock-stitch machinist became an assistant in Wigston's Three Sisters shop.
They have three daughters – Jane Hanssen, who came over from her home in Sweden to join in the celebrations, Cheryl Johnson and Bridget Stenson, and a son, Andrew.
Ten grandchildren and great-granddaughter Lillian complete the family.
Lillian said: "They are lovely children, so precious. Our family are our life.
"John and I do everything together. We are always together and I feel very blessed to have him, our children and grandchildren."
