“Potty, uneducated, mindless. Local authority or should I say employees of the public have barely an ounce of brain matter too much drinking tea and coffee. These so called authority figures need to be managed correctly and made responsible for their lack of poor judgement and failures. LCC have money to spend and rather spend on a list of other issues such as regeneration, failing established businesses, the private sector to create further jobs or even keeping the homeless off the streets etc the list is huge they would rather spend on bus lanes causing further congestion, causing home owners on that stretch in glen parva to lose value on their homes, causing a sense of insecurity for pedestrians including children and cyclists.
We the public have been pushed aside ignored because of a number of authority idiots who have had an idea, an unfounded idea without proper investigation and thought. I for one will not give up”

“I was totally opposed to the bus lanes and had every sympathy with the homeowners on Lutterworth Road until......I saw the poster saying "no to bus lanes - bypass now!!" Bypass where precisely? Along the Gt. Central Way? Through Aylestone Meadows? I don't think so. The bypass idea was discredited some twenty or so years ago.”
“£5 million to be spent on bus lanes from Glen Parva into Leicester. Time saved? Possibly about ten minutes. One big problem! If Peter Soulsby gets to create his wonderful boulevard along Newarke Street that ten minutes will be lost as the bus struggles to get through the last section. Result.....£5 million down the drain! Is everybody in authority going potty!!”
