LCC have money to spend and rather spend on a list of other issues such as regeneration, failing established businesses, the private sector to create further jobs or even keeping the homeless off the streets etc the list is huge they would rather spend on bus lanes causing further congestion, causing home owners on that stretch in glen parva to lose value on their homes, causing a sense of insecurity for pedestrians including children and cyclists.

“I was totally opposed to the bus lanes and had every sympathy with the homeowners on Lutterworth Road until......I saw the poster saying "no to bus lanes - bypass now!!" Bypass where precisely? Along the Gt. Central Way? Through Aylestone Meadows? I don't think so. The bypass idea was discredited some twenty or so years ago.”
