“I was just passing and called in to have look round there were 4 customers in the shop
including myself and the wife, I assume it was the area manager, walked in with the lads and photographer and just announced that the lads were there to show support for Age UK within 5mins all gone, no advertising signs outside or in windows.

“Felt sorry for the kids at Conkers on Chldren in need night.

They rehearsed, they turned up, they raised money, and when they did the combined choir, and went around the country showing all the different choirs in a big montage during the song, they were conspicuous by their absence. We only saw them on local segments, they weren't shown at all on the national segment.

If you are doing a National event, then everyone who participates should get equal coverage, not the pick of the favourites. The song is 3 minutes long, not that difficult to fit all the regions in, especially in the days of split screens.”
