“I am not sure if there are actually a disproportionate number of stories or not. But what definitely gives this impression is the way the web site works. The most commented on stories keep going to the top of the list, so EDL/UAF stories from the last few days can all appear on the front page of the web site because people comment on them.
This 'feature' of the web site was widely criticised when it was introduced.”

“For once in my life (well, no, twice actually because we are at one over the dreaded animal lady, Ms Allison) I absolutely agree with Eastonian on this one. I am almost incredulous at the number of stories there has been over these marches. The paper is bad enough but the current web site (I write this on Sunday) is barely worth visiting so utterly dominated is it by what were a couple of sparsely supported marches from extremeist groups.
Come on editorial team, let's have something a bit more varied than this.”
