    “Absolutely NOT.

There are far more important things to do in life.

So sad that so many people have to break their boredom by 'shopping'. They are unwitting victims of the marketing gurus that have tried to make 'shopping' a social pastime rather than a survival necessity.”

“If folks dont shop, stores wont stay open. If they do, they will.
Shops staying open till 9pm isnt that much of a radical concept.”

“It already does - just some businesses can't afford to open all night or late, because of Staff and lighting and heating costs.
Some don't really have the need to open all night,
Some locations have restrictions due to residential constraints.
And some products are subject to licensing restrictions.

But like Brendon said and C10 have said, it's not really that radical, there just isn't an all year round demand.”

“Do you agree all nightclubs should close at 1am latest. No one needs to be out any later than this.”

“@wilsonparrot – That is personal choice, and night clubs do not close at 1 am, the average is around 2 am. However, some can go all the way until 6 am depending on the amount of people inside etc. Also, what has that got to do with shopping?”
