Village talent show to support hospice
The show, in aid of the Leicester Loros hospice, promises a wide range of artistes, musicians and a local celebrity compere. There will also be a raffle.

Harborough: Books about Leicester city, the county and Rutland attracted interest in a sale of antiquarian books in Market Harborough.
They included several lots of John Nichols The History and Antiquities of the County of Leicester.
One lot in four volumes fetched the top price when they went for £3,400 under auctioneer John Gilding's hammer.
Dunton Bassett: The WI heard about a painting technique known as "wet on wet" at the last meeting.
June Goodwin, of Leire, told members about the recent AGM at the Royal Albert Hall.
The next meeting on Tuesday, July 14, will include a cookery demonstration by Ramona Cockerill.
Sapcote: A Wriggly Readers session of stories, songs and rhymes for babies, toddlers and their carers is on offer at Sapcote Library tomorrow from 10.30am to 11am.
Husbands Bosworth: The Friends of Bosworth School's Annual Safari Supper will take place tomorrow.
The gastronomic event is at the village hall and is a great way to meet new friends, renew old friendships and get to see parts of the village that you may not know while sampling some fantastic food.

Uppingham: Ballroom, old time dancing, rock'n'roll and a bit of disco will take over the dance floor at Uppingham Town Hall.
The dance is on Saturday, June 27, from 8.30pm, with tickets costing £5.50.

Belton: A Bear Festival organised by the parish council will take place from June 27 to July 26.
Bears can be seen all around Belton from 1pm to 6pm daily.
On Sunday, June 28, there will be a teddy bears' picnic and service at 4pm at Belton Parish Church.
Long Whatton & Diseworth: Parish councillors have agreed to make a donation of £50 to Crimestoppers in response to a letter requesting grant aid.
Hathern: The Patronal Festival of Hathern Parish Church will be celebrated with a Holy Communion Service at 10.30am on Sunday, June 28.
